Did you "volt drop" test the Alternator B+ to Battery B+ terminal?
(sorry if this is teaching you to suck eggs do you know how to volt drop test? I've had several starter connector wires go green on these, and that's what I believe you have).
Put the volt meter negative lead on the positive terminal of the battery.
Put the volt meter positive lead on the alternator B+ terminal.
Start the engine and introduce some electrical loads (headlights, heater blower, heated screen).
What does the volt meter read? (<0.2v is ideal)
Now try the alternator body to Battery negative. If this is high, look for a bad engine earth. (<0.2v is ideal)
Anything more than 0.5v is a serious issue, 0.2-0.5v is a slight problem.
