My view would be that from an insurance point of view that performance remaps would be more of an issue and DPF removal. Having said that I avoid both.
I have a customer who is an insurance assessor and will try & remember to ask his view, they will be responsible for identifying such mods.
The big problem for VOSA is consistent test standards and it is difficult to test for DPF removal (assuming casing is there) & ecu remapping. so I think they will avoid until forced to do so.
