I enquired about DPF removal at my last MOT NT Refresher in December last year. I asked the VOSA Trainer if there was any early discussion about the possibility of DPF "deliberate modification" being introduced to the scheme.

He replied that there had not been any talk of DPF reasons for refusal & we went on to confirm that his own Mazda 6 had been DPF free for a while.

It's not exactly an official VOSA endorsement but it does hint at the mood.
