i was looking on TIS ,it mentioned mis fires due to poor quality plugs,we replaced the denso plugs for bosch and it improved a bit,the coil pack was new and the car had been to the dealers,[so no need to suspect it].we noticed a small fuel parts sticker so decided to fit a o\e coil pack ....fixed
still dont understand how it can shut the whole car down.
I dont think even a scope test on the CAN line would have shown anything.Would like to get it back in one day to check.
