First of all you have to locate a coven! Duh!
Where are you! What city!
You can look in www.witchvox.com and see if you can find something in your area.
In the meantime you can start putting yourself into "The Wheel of the Year" by collecting a few reference books.
I would also start reading books (not internet articles) on the history of witchcraft in order to arm yourself with info on what it is, where it came from and how we got to this point in time.
The first three books that I read on witchcraft were:
BUCKLANDS COMPLETE BOOK OF WITCHCRAFT, by Raymond Buckland - this book is set up in lessons and you will refer to it on a regular basis for years to come. This book is always in stock in out store.
PENETRATING THE SECRETS OF WHITE MAGIC also under the title of COMPLETE ART OF WITCHCRAFT, by Sybil Leek. - This book is incredibly hard to find, out of print, it covers ethics in a perfect and profound way. I'm going to have to see if I can scrounge up a few copies of this for sale on the shop...
and...
HISTORY OF WITCHCRAFT, SORCERERS, HERETICS AND PAGANS, by Jeffery B. Russell. - This one is also hard to find...I try to keep a few used copies for sale on hand...I have one copy presently in stock.
I also highly recommend that you get a copy of MOON MAGICK by D.J. Conway and a copy of THE WITCHES BIBLE COMPLETE, by Stewar & Janet Farrar
With these 2 books you can place yourself right into the Wheel of the Year. I will be happy to show you how. I can walk you through it. Then you can begin creating your own path...I can help guide you on how to learn more "stuff" ...and along the way you will locate a coven...
You dont have to wait to find a coven to get started!
Give me a call during shop hours (noon to 6pm) if you need anything at all!
Blessed Be!
