I am refering to the whole rule. Circumstances change over the length of 3 seasons (injuries, work, school) this can cripple some teams. What happens when you get a new player into the league who goes late but should be picked in the 1st round? This guy gets to float around in round 4 or 5 for up to 3 seasons. Also in the third season before everyone redrafts rounds 1-3, teams will do the same thing they did this season.
