As you know,I am a pointer person, so I am not very familiar with the setter world.

That being said, Gridiron's momma, Ch. Smokescreen was one that absolutely made me sit up and pay attention. I saw her twice in competition and she was flat out amazing. She was electrifying to watch on the ground and a piece of statuary on her birds.

Her untimely death was a real loss to the setter fraternity. I think if she were my dog, I might just have bought the horse that kicked her, just to take it out behind the barn and and put a bullet in it's head.
