Tim, same problem with records for me too. Took three separate requests for records to get four pages of useless crap!!! Just don't give up and keep plugging. I'm not sure where your hooch was? Were you in the new or old area of the base? The old area being near Building 600 (or 100 as some called it). The new area was closer to the main gate and had the H-shaped airman's barracks as part of it. If we can't get you near the perimeter as part of work or living area, the VA will keep denying any claim right now in Thailand. I have no clue as what to offer as far as the Vietnam landing. Most of us landed there on the way to Thailand, and we were not issued any travel vouchers or anything to prove it. Most of us left for SEA via Travis AFB, California and processed through the Philippines to Vietnam then Bangkok, at least that was my travel. I see Susie signed in; you should be hearing from her, she has helped a lot of us and she learned the hard way fighting for her Mom's benefits (her Dad was also stationed at Takhli). LouB.
