Lou, I didn't get orders for Viet Nam, just a plane ticket from Tacoma to Cam Ron Bay. Then to Saigon, I ordered my records. They didn't send me any copies of my orders, boarding passes or anything I could use. It took over three months to get that. Sent me a second set of papers asking me to fill out new papers! I had a 62250 AFSC, but always worked in supply at mess#2. Was sent TDY to Bangkok to work with the Army for three months at their warehouse. While stationed at Key West NAS, I worked as an Assistant Mess Sgt., was in charge of the post office and hauled
classified messages (local Florida only) And St Louis can't find paperwork on me?? I met a man who has good contacts with VA, he is going to meet up with me to see if he can be of help. Why are so many vets having the same problem I am?
