Carsonville "Depot"

Ah, yes -- here we have the unique (odd??) structure that housed the agent/operator at Carsonville in the 1970's. I believe the original depot burned down?? I never had the opportunity to work here; however, Carsonville did become part of the Croswell mobile agent's assignment I worked a few times in 1977-78. The small red target (with no light) is the train order signal, the same style that all of the depots on the Bad Axe Sub had. Interestingly (or probably not), Carsonville, Breckenridge and Carleton all had the office call of "CN", but they were each in different train order book dispatching districts. Knowing this will probably not appreciably affect your life today! (PHOTO CREDIT: MARK HINSDALE)
