Another great McKuen song ....

I once asked Glenn Yarbrough what happened to McKuen because of all the Trio song writers... I liked him the most...

Glenn said .... "He just dried up!"

I asked Shane the same question .....

He said Rod told him that that he tried loving women and men and neither worked out for him.

I remember when I heard this song the first time. I was eating Kentucky fried chicken at Ray's Drive-in in Bowling Green (Ray was one of the Colonel's first franchisees) and I heard it being sung by Jimmy Rogers....
