Take us through the process, Ken. How did you find these makers, and why did you choose this kind of wood?

We're in a golden era for banjos. There are numerous small makers out there whose craftsmanship is probably better than that at Vega and Gibson back in the day and whose banjos sound as good as - if not better than - the vintage banjos.
