Hi Joe, After trading in a couple of banjos this year, I think my current banjos are my keepers. I may add a long-neck banjo sometime later on, maybe a custom.

The banjos all sound a bit different depending on their construction characteristics as influenced by pot size, different woods, scale lengths, banjo heads, and tone rings. I love the tone of a walnut banjo with a 12-inch rim and Tubaphone tone ring for its projection, warmth, and overall depth of tone.
