And here's one more little tidbit from that same phone call Aaron Rand (CJAD Radio) made to Sylvia Tyson.
AARON RAND:
Can you tell us about the song that put Ian & Sylvia on the map? "Four Strong Winds".
SYLVIA TYSON:
We were in New York, and our manager, Albert Grossman, was kind enough to let Ian spend a few hours
in his apartment to work on a song.
We met Bob Dylan earlier, and Ian whispered in my ear....
"if this grubby Dylan character can write song, anybody can."
AARON RAND:
So in a kinda crazy way, Ian was inspired by Bob Dylan?
SYLVIA TYSON:
Yes, and as it turns out, he wrote "Four Strong Winds" in about two hours.
Ian wrote it for a girl he was seeing before me, Evinia Pulos.
AARON RAND:
Did you ever meet Evinia Pulous?
SYLVIA TYSON:
Many times, Aaron. She became the third person in our marriage.

Note: when Ian wrote "Four Strong Winds", Sylvia Fricker was still single.
Ian & Sylvia got married a couple of years later. (their marriage: 1964-1975)
Brucester
Thanks for sharing the "bath tub" story Brucester. This sort of thing is always amusing to YT.
