Hi Jim, et al....
Just wanted to share a little story that Sylvia Tyson told to Aaron Rand (CJAD radio, via telephone):
AARON RAND:
I wanted to ask you about your song "You Were On My Mind".
It became a big hit for an American folk-rock band We Five.
SYLVIA TYSON:
I wrote the song in a bathtub while Ian and I were staying at a hotel in Greenwich Village.
AARON RAND:
Well, that explains why it's a clean song! (hahaha)
SYLVIA TYSON:
(laughing) No Aaron, I wasn't taking a bath.
I wrote the song in a bathtub to get away from the cockroaches.
AARON RAND:
Cockroaches? Oh my God, did you at least get a good discount on the room?
SYLVIA TYSON:
The cockroaches were included.

Right Terry, though it was "Fricker." She and Ian divorced quite a while ago, but for decades she has appeared in Canada as Sylvia Tyson. I prefer the Ian and Sylvia original above the others, as you do, but the Chad Mitchell Trio also did a fine if different job with the tune.
I believe that "Sylvia Flicker" wrote You were on my mind...maybe. I also recall a version of the same song by Crispian St. Peter. Not bad but the original is classic. Just my opinion of course.
Sure Glen. Mikael is the guy with the glasses, far left as we look and to Bev Bivens' immediate right. Jerry Burgan is closest to Mikael on Bev's other side.
