And yes, I sure do remember those weekend gigs back in the 70's.
In fact, we'd also go to "Little Caesar's" for pizza whenever we'd visit the United States.
Somehow, in later years, we graduated to "Pizza Hut" - or even better....
"Ken's Pizza" (on Church Street) in Burlington, Vermont.
{guaranteed the best pizza you ever tasted}
Anyhow -
I want to give a big "Thank You" to that guy who told you about Canada's pride and joy: IAN & SYLVIA
Hopefully, unlike "Four Strong Winds" - that 'young couple' are still together !!!
Brucester
ps: Ian was severely critical of Bob Dylan when they first met.
Ian apologized by recording this beautiful love song - written by Bob:
Thank You Brucester. Back in the early 70's I had a steady weekend gig (remember those?) at a Little Caeser's pizza joint. A certain young couple were there faithfully every Saturday night. I got to know them and the fella suggested I check out that very same Ian and Sylvia album. Needless to say
I'm glad to have followed their suggestion...
