I agree with her about offering children healthy, elevated versions of food. But a child will tip over a stemmed parfait bowl. Why not put it in a simple juice glass that they can hold with one hand and use a spoon with the other?
Meghan Markle has been criticized for touting a dish as kid-friendly after horrified viewers noted it could result in catastrophic injuries.
In a video uploaded to her As Ever Instagram page, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, was preparing a lavish-looking breakfast station when she made the blunder.
Her offerings included a yogurt parfait, which she presented beautifully in a vintage-looking coupe glass, assembling the dish with some As Ever jam, yogurt, fruit and a drizzle of her As Ever honey.
'You could do a yogurt parfait in a normal bowl, or you could just make it a little bit more special,' she suggested in the clip as she showcased the delicate coups.
She then added, 'All of this is great for kids.'
But some viewers were left horrified at the thought of giving children a delicate vessel that could smash and result in injuries to anyone near it.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts, one wrote: 'Look, I'm not a duchess, but I would not put children's yogurt parfaits in delicate, breakable glasses unless you have a masochistic need to step on crystal shards.
'Maybe for a ladies' luncheon but not the primary school set,' another added.
'I like that she's cooking in a white shirt. My small children would use it as a canvas,' joked someone else.
A fourth person wrote: 'She's not a real human. I'm skeptical that she even parents her own children at this point.'
Someone else recommended the duchess use 'Tupperware or similar soft plastic' to avoid breakages.
'It's funny because she's trying to be relatable, but absolutely no one lives like this,' wrote another.
The dangers of broken glass go beyond surface cuts, according to the Cleveland Clinic, which specifies if untreated, glass wounds can lead to infection.
'Only attempt to remove a piece of glass if you can clearly see it,' urgent care physician Allan Capin said.
'Digging for a shard you can't see might push it farther into your foot and make your injury worse.'
It's not the first time the mom of Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, has been ridiculed for making claims about child-appropriate ideas.
Parents were horrified earlier in the year after an episode of With Love, Meghan, for her children's birthday party suggestions, calling them 'over the top' and 'extremely time-consuming'.
The Suits actress suggested giving out party bags that included seeds, mini gardening tools, sugar snap peas, and sweet basil, along with manuka honey sticks, instead of candy.
Last week, the Duchess of Sussex sent out a cryptic message to her As Ever customers - as she teased that 'something big' was coming ahead of the holidays.
Earlier this month, Meghan released an As Ever holiday drop, introducing a new range of products to the line.
The drop included two scented candles that each retailed for $64, a $16 hot toddy and apple cider spice mulling kit, and a special sage honey with honeycomb in it for $32.
The announcement came after Meghan had graced the cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine's December 2025/January 2026 edition, which was labeled as the art issue.
She appeared to be wearing no makeup in the cover photo, and she had her hair tied back, showing off a pair of dangling diamond earrings.
The mom-of-two wore a low-cut, black silk blazer with a tie at the waist, as the magazine's cover was titled, 'Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, Meets her Moment.'
