Right now I think that the daughters thought the best of their parents. They're a loving and close-knit family who have gotten used to the slings and arrows of public life. But now that the seamier side of of York life has been made public, with more revelations on the way, they have to know that the allegations they shrugged off for years are true. Both princesses and their husbands have business interests that could be impacted by the scandal/s, so they can no longer be dutiful daughters who turn a blind eye.
