Those sound like good meals!
I'm sorry the restaurants pizza was so bad. I often wonder how anyone can mess up pizza so badly that it's yuck, but they can...I've had some, also. Not often, but once is enough! Generally, even so-so pizza is *okay*, but there's bad, too, and that's not okay!
Yeah for potato soup, and very crispy fish sticks with mashed potatoes...exactly how I like them!
Hooray for maintaining the weight!
Ouch! Stone bruises hurt! Do you think that the pain was delayed due to D?
Popsicles are really pleasant on hot days!
One of the owners of a small radio station here, eats a tuna melt almost every day for lunch. Turkey and provolone....mmmmm!
Pickles, delicious! I was raised in a house where pickles were on the table at almost every dinner, and we had them, additionally, with lunch sandwiches, if we wanted them. :-)
Have you ever eaten barrel pickles, or jarred pickles, on the side with spaghetti? I asked that as a question of the week many years ago, and no one had heard of it. I called my dad, and told him that no one ate pickles on the side with spaghetti, but me. (And, him/our family.)
He said that it was more of an east coast thing. That he used to have it that way in New York, but that here on the west coast, it used to be served with the bread that restaurants used to serve pre-dinner. He thinks that they stopped doing it here, because it's cheaper to serve just bread. Too bad, because I like pickles.
I hope so with the $'s!
Yes, sprouts in the old days. I got sick off of some once, so started buying them at the store, but I recall you saying that you couldn't find them in the stores you were going to there.
Okay, off to read your other posts! I'm using some of my battery to write offline. When online, I'll hit the 'post' button.
Have a wonderful food week!
