Why is walking away from a toxic situation where the issues are more than just whats happening in the wrestling room a bad thing?.
Any other sport the coaching is looked at and assessed on their ability to coach, not the athletes and if its a large group of kids leaving that should be a huge red flag for the school...
Its easier to blame the kids and parents, I can guarantee that this has been an issue for years, this doesn't just happen over night or in one season.
