The original post completely ignores the obvious force multiplier that comes with year round club wrestling.

The original post and the questions contained therein lack obvious context.

There have been many great wrestlers who went to mediocre HS programs but were dominant at the Dome and they were fully expected to be dominant at the Dome because they made a name for themselves in the greater wrestling community through year round competing both in-state and out of state.

They don't get extra credit for being at a crappy HS.

At best, the original poster is naive and uninformed about the sport.
