What other family can point to a record of 10 state titles, two older sons who have both graduated and continued on to college, and now Justyce earning a full scholarship to compete at the Division I level? Betty and Anthony Zuniga have demonstrated tremendous dedication in providing their children with the best possible opportunities, both athletically and academically. While no one can predict the future, it is worth recognizing that success at the Division I level from Washington athletes has been relatively rare in recent years. With that in mind, it seems misplaced for anyone to criticize this family’s efforts.
