Everybody that does not understand this new process needs to settle down. The state already has ways of expanding the state tournament. More medals, more trophies equals more participants and more money for the deep pockets of the WIAA.

Next year will be the team tournament. This will determine the state title. No keeping score at the individual tournament at the dome.

After that will be the JV boys state tournament. Details for qualification are being worked on.

After that will be the Middle School State tournament.

After that will be the highly technical gymnastics wrestling combined event. Where a judges score on how a move looked while being executed can make difference. Imagine pinning your opponent with a sloppy half Nelson only for it to not count due to a low judges score.

All of this can be yours at the dome, if the price is right.
