With no regionals now state will be watered down. It used to be an accomplishment just to get state now there are wrestlers with records with under 50% wins that are going. I get it WiAA is all about the money, most of the tournament won’t even be worth watching until the second or even third round now. Just a disservice to all of those retired wrestlers that actually had to work to get there. I know the top wrestlers will all be there, but wouldn’t be nice if they were in one tournament. The is always lots of talk on here about Washington wrestling and how it is top notch. Wake up big schools are never going to take our wrestlers seriously until we have one champion. Easy fix still have your division tournament and top two from each division move on. They have the dome on Sunday just run it then.
