I'm not so sure about where the poster named Post_Season SOPS got the listed criteria. Some of it looks familiar, but I doubt WIAA uses TrackWrestling as a source for any kind of separation or seeding. Maybe times have changed.

"Seeding" at the WIAA state tournament isn't the kind of process you would find at other tournaments.

One of the major breakout criteria was whether or not you won your regional. Regional winners used to get their own QTR of the 16 man bracket. Then they used a "Criteria" to seperate those 4. I guess you could call it "Seeding". I'm sure there was more to it then that, but that's the nutshell.

Now with 32 man brackets, I'm not sure of the process.

All that being said, even the posters list above accounts for districts. It would be number 4.
