Thanks for being the voice of reason. It seems blatantly obvious that these guys just want to spout venom without actually reading and paying attention to the responses. It has been posted all over the WIAA, this website on numerous threads and now twice in this thread alone.
It all comes down to the almighty dollar. Anyone saying that it's because the Eastside wants to ensure their wrestlers get in are just plain wrong because the WIAA gives zero **its about how we feel. They now get to run a three day tournament and make double what they did before because there are now twice as many wrestlers in the tournament. With the girls splitting, there are actually more that twice as many so all those lower tier varsity kids who would have never sniffed regionals will be at state.
