Evening chaps,
I have this one in after being spraybaked for 35 minutes. Dash Panel totally dead, no comm's with dash or immobiliser & consequently it won't start.

It drove into the spraybooth but had to be pushed out & then towed to us this afternoon after the bodyshop attempted numerous battery resets etc....
It also has no electric window operation even though in live data in the door controllers the switch commands are all present when operated.

This seems to be an issue with VAG Golf 5 based vehicles, does anyone have experience of this particular fault?

Power supplies, earths & wake up line are present at the cluster plug.

All fuses in the Dash panel fuse box are live on terminal 30 or 15, no dead ones & all relevant sockets are populated.

Ignition turned on A/C etc fire up & I have comm's with all ECU's except dash / immo.

In Gateway I receive a coding error message that the dash & Immo are missing.

Regards the electric window functionality on the door switches either side, all switch positions report correctly but the windows show no signs of life.
Comfort closing via remote & drivers door barrel is enabled in the coding but that doesn't work either.

The door locking via the remotes is operational.
However if I run an output test in the J385 & J386 door controllers I can lower & raise the windows using a scanner. But no other means of operating the windows is functional.

I've also unplugged the convenience module to see if that was pulling the bus down as per the A3 I had last week, but still no signs of life in the dash.
