    Hi Tony

I noticed while searching for a dealer that someone had sold a new, white-faced rev counter on Ebay for under 30 quid! They had wanted a black-face version and although supplied it in error had to keep it for whatever reason.

I took my cutomer's one apart to see if it was repairable - you know, the old dry-joint syndrome or whatever. However, it was all tiny soldered joints and ICs; but the rev counter itself literally unplugged from the circuit board.

I mention this so that if anyone is supplied the wrong colour face, then it is feasible to swap them over.

I thought there might be some strange reason why it could affect the rear windows, after all, we have all seen VERY strange faults with electrics. It didn't cure the windows though - I have yet to look into that fault.

I will post any findings because I know that Alfas can be a bit of a headache!

    Regards,

    Steve
