Many Thanks guys You were quite correct the piston ring in the compressor was worn out. I have tried everywhere for a cheap compressor or a repair kit, nobody seems to do a repair kit and i found the cheapest place for the new compressor was the dealers with the discount £241.00 + vat. Fitted the new compressor yesterday and the vehicle now raises from crawl/access height to normal ride height in 40 seconds rather than 20 minutes. If anybody ever finds where to buy the parts please put a post on here, as i kept the old unit Cheers again guys DJ
