yes i agree that will be the problem and its always seams to be the ex valve shims that you have to replace.. when i worked at the dealer we used to have to do them every 20.000 but only the ex shims give it a go their was a great tool for the job but as wayne said you can flick the out but be sure to measure the gap first so you know whether to ad or take away
