Hi Tony,
thanks for your info.
I looked at it today - checking powers/earths etc.. found it to be injecting ok - and indeed the plugs spark.. but - it is a weak spark - and disappears after about 8-10 revs of on the starter.. So, my prognosis would be failing coil.
He reckons he put a new stator on himself 'after' he blew whatever he blew - he did that because he'd had experience of them going before so he thought he was on to the right thing. Obviously not this time!
So thats where Im up too.. Any thoughts??
Incidently, as for the codes.. which book would that be Tony ? as I dont appear to have that info. ( theres always one!)
