Thanks Tony,Even though i have changed the battery i will advise my customer that the radio neeeds checking out.The backlight on the display has packed up so maybe there is a short,but he says that the display has always remained on since he has had the car & i wonder whether the battery just couldn't handle the 250ma drain overnight anymore.
