Hi Andrew, 250 milliamps is way too much, you need to be getting it down to something like 20 milliamps. In your case, I would remove the radio as it is either faulty, or wired up wrong, it sounds as though the accessory feed wire is connected directly to battery pos, on some radio's this is ok but others don't like it and drain the battery. We normally allow up to o.1A. which is 100 milliamps, but even that is too much if the car is stood for long periods or doesn't get a good run. 0.00. to 0.02 is great.
