I have just had an Audi A4 in with a missfire which is now cured & also the battery going flat if the radio front panel isn't removed overnight.I checked for current draw and got 250milliamps with doors closed radio front cover open or off,but with radio cover closed the display is constantly scrolling across the screen (which it apparently has always done)& it is drawing 500milliamps.With the interior lights on when the door is opened & the radio panel fitted it is drawing approx 2amps.Anyway i removed the battery & charged it,then did drop test & checked specific gravity, which showed discharged on one cell & low on others & the battery only recovered to 12.4 volts.I'm not used to checking vehicles for battery drain and thought that 250mamps was probably ok until i read your post.I will let you know if the battery is still going flat overnight.I doubt this helps much but hopefully somebody else may respond now as i would be intersted to know what is considered as excessive current draw for most vehicles.
    Regards,
    Andrew
