Hi All, Thanks to everyone for your responses. It turned out to be the air mass meter. I had tested whilst in the workshop and on the face of it obtained what i thought to be an acceptable waveform with a peak voltage of 3.89v, when the new one was fitted a new reading was taken and attained 4.19v just goes to show what 300mv difference makes.
