Hmmmmm thats an interesting point especialy the readings with the a/c clutch proving it! I will re check with a direct conection as a point of interest you can improve the accuracy of a current clamp by looping several turns of the conductor around the jaws and dividing the reading by the number of turns obviously I cant do this due to the thickness and lengnth of the cable !But its a good tip so thaught it worth a metion !! i will post how I get on !!!
