Hi Jon. I would use a proper multimeter, I am not confident that the clamp meter would show small battery drains, (most likely someone will prove me wrong) Use a digital ammmeter and put it between the post and lead, and see if that shows anything up. You need to be looking for something like 0.05A or less if possible.
