    Thanks for your prompt response Andy. Specifically the drain is between 2.511-2.561A. I'm now sure the audio system drain is an effect, not cause. When I pull only dash fuse 40, the car quickly shuts to around 50mA. I've also noticed if I sit in the car & lock it there's something alive & buzzing behind the dash! That's a right result!! Found the bit of paper too, F040 switch-off relay/top switch panel. There's a cluster of switches above centre console that don't seem to do much so I'm guessing they're the ones. Hopefully tomorrow all will be revealed....Mark
