I would start by allowing the system to shut down for at least 30mins.Re-check drain after this period and report.You need to be a little more accurate in "excess of 2.5A" as this may give an idea as to the problem.Not sure what fuse 40 protects,(I will look tomorrow),but there should be a fuse map,a folded piece of paper,slid in the dash fusebox,or in the boot toolkit.hth
