    Hi Simon

First the starter, you should have in the fuse box a yellow relay at the front left make sure this is the starter relay, there are two ways of bypassing this, the first is to just put a link wire from term 87 to term 30 this will bypass the relay, the other way is to supply this relay with a permanent earth to one of the coil terminals 85 or 86, you must first see which of these terminals is supplied a positive 12 volt when you turn the ignition switch to the start position, when this is done put the constant earth to the other terminal,

Secondly the fuel pump, turn the fuse box over and locate the fuel pump relay (small brown relay near to the back right),the wires feeding the fuel pump will be black and red or violet and orange, determine which is the output from this relay with your power probe and connect into this wire with a two foot length of the same type of wire, remove the o/s/f kick panel and find the fuel pump feed wire going to the back of the car, at this point connect in the new wire,
Finally the wires near the ECU locate the ecu and remove the tape from about one foot back up the loom you will see a blue and yellow wire and a blue and green wire both with a brown wire crimped into them cut both of the brown wires and tape them back your car should now start.
    HTH Tom
