This was relayed into me the other day, on the AA sheet was suspected coil pack
Checked codes and had Multiple Misfire, Misfire Cylinder 3 and Misfire Cylinder 4
I changed the plugs and substituted another coil pack but still the same, but as it tried to start i did detect a metallic sound, so i carried out a compression check

I informed the customer that despite the low mileage i suspect a mechanical problem. He had bought the car 6 month earlier from a Car Warehouse with only 3 months warranty. I told him to have a word with his local dealer
It seems they were keen to have the car back. I got a call from the owner this morning to say that they were a little vague about the problem but told me they are replacing a camshaft to fix under Vauxhall warranty (after nearly 3 years)
