    I also use the mig method. It works a treat & there is no need for brute force as the heat from the weld releases the threads.

    I always drop a small ball bearing inside the plug carcase to stop any splatter from entering the cylinder.

    I also remove locking wheel nuts & broken manifold bolts/studs the same way. It’s a method that seems to have passed many workshops by.
