    I take it that you have had experience with these.

    We managed it fine thanks guys. It `actually was an E39 so the Xmas trees didn't apply.

    Thanks to you guys & the forum we completed the job with confidence. I had previously cut out the junction box under the seat & soldered all the connections, just to eliminate any high resistance concerns. It didn't work so a new one was needed.

    The guy rang up an hour after leaving us & asked what the amber warning lamp meant that had just come on. Turns out the front pads have just worn enough to catch the warning wire. Why oh why do these things happen 10 miles after we have just sorted his other warning light problem?

    Anyway enough moaning. Thanks every one for the information
