Thanks for all the info on this one, and sure enough there was a dodgy wire leading to the 'PIN L' connector. The fault was in a connector tucked under the battery just above the gearbox as was suggested. Both of the wires in the 2 pin plug were all but broken and fell out with out much persuasion. Had to take the battery and air box out to get the soldering iron in but all's well now. Thanks again, Rob Sculfor
