Only code was steering lock fault could not start it on the key took starter relay out to bypass it engine would run ok steering lock remained off.

Sent it to dealers who charged us for the update in the same way as buying a part and then charged for installing it.
Rip off comes to mind but the parts dept tell me that is how Volvo do it
