I had this problem last year on a V50. Removed it from the vehicle, stripped, cleaned and lubed it. It's not given any trouble since (belongs to the guy in the neighbouring unit so I see it regularly). Is yours a mechanical or electrical problem? What fault codes do you have? I can pull the report for the one I had if necessary.
