having the key in the toolbox or office is extra insurance, no need to pull the hv plug out (you need gloves to remove the plug), just disconnect the 12v auxiliary battery, radio's are not coded and the clock is easily reset.
what has been causing the issues is when a prius rolls on the ramp in ready mode without the ICE running, it can be mistaken that the ignition is off, ramp up the car, drain oil and boom the ICE starts up and seizes up.
as long as some training on these vehicles has been done these are a huge money spinner.
