If the answer is yes then its quite straight forward using VCDS.
If the answer is no then plan "B" may help, what are your EEPROM skills like? as you may be able to swap the security info from one to the other.
Failing both of those ideas you are probably looking for someone to do one of the above for you, or set the ECU into free running mode.
