I have a friend who was sued by a customer who had a Rover cambelt snap on him after a service.
The judge ruled that because he was the professional he should have advised the customer about the cambelt.
I'm guessing if push came to shove A judge would rule against the garage should an SRS system fail due to missing a manufacturers recommended change.
It doesn't bear thinking about does it?
