I knew somebody some years ago who had a fairly new Toyota Pick up who suffered an engine failure.
Not only did he get a "No Quibble" new engine, the old one was shipped back to Japan for full analysis!
(Interestingly however, Toyota has always seemed reluctant to admit the BEB issue on 90-95 4.2TD Land-cruisers! If you have any customers with one of these Insist on fitting new BEBs, And get the Australian ones rather than the OEM. It is a nice easy job and could well save the engine! When I did mine there were no noises or obvious issues but on removal they looked as if they had been strip mined! )
